One of my favorite local spots. We usually go for breakfast and get burritos. The staff is always friendly. Everything feels fresh and they have tons of topping options. It’s a quick option and good value. Easy to eat in or take to go.

I will.say.....Bandit Burrito is...by far....THE BEST MOST AUTHENTICMOST FLAVORFUL BURRITO I have had Byetta in my 10 years here in Iowa. I them and cannot wait to come back! Thank you !! They're Chicken Mole' ?! BEST , MOST AUTHENTIC, EVER!!!

Food is amazing! I've stopped by their location in Johnston and was happily surprised to see them this weekend at the beaverdale festival! I ordered their chicken flautas, usually not on their menu and many did they not disappoint! If you want a crunch full of flavor this was all of that and more. I drizzled, okay a poured their green salsa and red salsa on then and it was fingerlicking good!

Absolutely love this place! The food, service, and atmosphere are all top-notch. Everything on the menu is great, but the burritos are packed with flavor and the queso is the perfect finishing touch. I have been eating at Bandit Burrito since the early days when the original owner/chef Robert opened it. Since then, the new owners have done a remarkable job of keeping the spirit alive. I am so thankful for the care they have taken to capture the same consistent excellence. If you want the best burrito in the Des Moines metro, come try the chicken mole (don't be scared, it's the best protein on the menu). I typically get double meat and do chicken mole + steak (pictured). And if you like to add a little spice, their homemade salsa is incredible. They make every burrito to-order per your exact specs. Everything is fresh daily and is served up by people who care. Absolutely highest of recommendations. Enjoy!
